Welcome to Silver Bullet Vehicles a site dedicated to British Military Vehicles.

For a number of years I have been interested in Military Vehicles off all shapes, sizes and descriptions from all nationalities but in particular the good old British Military Vehicle.

With this in mind I have decided to share my knowledge with the rest of the world in order to pass on the information I have learned.

Some may say that having an interest in Military Vehicles is nothing more than glorifying War and the misery that comes with it. In response I say that each person is free to express their own opinions whatever they may be but just remember that Millions of people died in order for those opinions to be be expressed freely and without fear of retribution.
The history of this country is varied and often bloody but to forget the past is an insult to those that have sacrificed so much so that we can live in a land that is free from opression. With this in mind it is my belief that the memory of such a sacrifice should and MUST not be forgotten. In order to preserve the memory of such historic events people collect all forms of military memorabilia from medals to uniforms to military vehicles. As the years progress there are fewer and fewer of those that have first hand knowledge of the events as they happened and thus it is the responsibility of the following generations to preserve our history for the future generations to understand that such things can and must never happen again.

With my little rant over feel free to explore this site as it has a wealth of information for the curious to the well informed of all things green!!

The site is organised in to British Military vehicles from the past ie from post World War II right up to todays current serving vehicles. I have detailed some basic vital statistics about each vehicle the role the vehicle played with the armed forces and its replacement. So click here or use the navigation bar at the top, sit back and hopefully learn something new and get an interest that may se you driving down your local high street in your own armoured car. Now thats got to be more fun than your average saloon.

This is by far the largest project I have undertaken and I anticipate that the restoration will take upwards of 2 years to complete but then again with these old beasts your never quite finished as there is always something that will need attention.
